"WHO SHOT YOU" TOURING PHOTO EXHIBIT

Toni Braxton
For nearly 17 years photojournalist Anthony Alden has been capturing live concert performances of  some of the top national R&B acts in the country.  His work is heralded by many in and out of the urban music industry, and while his style is using a standard focal lens, few photographers have worked with as much creative depth and authenticity as he does.
Carlos Santana
Anthony Alden has a great eye for details, capturing spectacular angles you would might have otherwise missed even if you were at the performance. He's excellent at capturing a musician's look of exasperation, whether performing a ballad, doing a guitar solo, or just drenched in sweat.
Erykah Badu
" I don't have time to wait for the precise moment to release my shutter, so I have to be perfect tune with my creative instinct."

For the past three years Anthony Alden has captured many of the acts appearing at:
Chene Park Amphitheater Detroit and Kinfolks Soul Food Music Festival National Tour.
Keysha Cole
"Feeling burnt out I took five years off away from the entertainment business and when I decided I could no longer stay idle I researched who were the top urban music venues in the country. Both of these music platforms offer intimate up close and personal environments between fan and performer. I was able to gain all access credentials and went to work documenting the performances."
Fantasia
Anthony Alden has launched four urban inspired magazines; (Urban Flava, Buzz Music, Endangered Mag, X Urban Music Mag) which has set him apart from his competitors as having the innate ability to build a project from concept to finish.

Anthony Alden has the ability to work all angles from both the stage, crowd and the photo pit, exposing the essence of each subject he photographs.
Big Daddy Kane
Looking at Anthony Alden photos will make you feel like you were there front center stage, and that's probably one of the highest compliments one could give to someone shooting in this genre.

RACIAL AGITATION by Anthony Alden

Rumors spreading mainstream media outlets continue to blackout and censor police brutality and the protest the arise from them are not surprising. We must not forget most mainstream media outlets are owned by rich, conservative, right-winged drones whose news feed us what they want us to see and hear. Information is censored to dumb us down and keep Americans passive for fear if they “wake up” the truth will set our minds free from all the programmed propaganda. Mainstream media feeds are mainly for the benefit of white America. The generation who run and control this country was spoon feed on shows like Mayberry RFD.
