"Round About Midnight" Friday evening I had the weekend off so I thought I catch a live Jazz set in the CO. I pointed Google maps towards Dicks Den on High St. got in my car and proceeded to my destination. Drummer Gregory Pearson, aka The Governor, led a superb ensemble of musicians: (Dolly) Setting the tone, stepped into the scene of an unscripted, unrehearsed live jazz performance with The Governor, Greg Pearson, his drop, lock snare power on drums nicely framed Dolly's smooth buttery voice. Ron Hope on percussion along with tight keys and horn made this a sweet, head bobbing experience, we certainly enjoyed the playing of some well refined masters of the craft. Nothing better than cool jazz in a dimly lit bar on cool, breezy, star bangle summer night. John Eshelman-piano, Roger Hines-bass, Randy Mather-sax, Dolly King-vocals, Ron 'Chopper' Hope-percussion

THE CHAIR

Ann Arbor, MI When I see family come together I love to capitalize off the photo opportunity. This past Fourth Of July weekend 2015 I headed back home. I was hanging out with a friend and capture these photos. When I finish this blog post I will hit send and move onto another defining moment in time.

"AN EVENING WITH MOJOFLO" Vocalist Amber Knicole of Mojoflo has been the featured vocalist with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, been a semifinalist in the annual AMERICAN TRADITIONS Competition in Savannah, Georgia, and is her hometown’s reigning American Idol contestant. Backing her is the hardest working band in show business. Amber’s an electrifying performer/entertainer, a old school protojee of both Tina Turner and James Brown. Like Tina Turner Amber has a set of legs that will keep your eyes super glued to her every rhythmatic move.
