Anthony Alden Vines, pen name Anthony Alden" is the youngest of ten children, eight boys and two girls.  He grew up in Toledo, Ohio a small Midwestern city located on the doorsteps of Detroit, MI. Anthony was blessed to have creative mentors all around him starting with his father the late photographer Clifton Vines.  Anthony was also mentored by seven brothers. The late Marvin Vines a national acclaimed fine artist and brother documentary photographer the late Thomas Vines set a standard of excellence for Anthony to reach for.
