Ann Arbor, MI When I see family come together I love to capitalize off the photo opportunity. This past Fourth Of July weekend 2015 I headed back home. I was hanging out with a friend and capture these photos. When I finish this blog post I will hit send and move onto another defining moment in time.

               Photographer Anthony Alden as a child. Photo taken by father the late Clifton Vines. Anthony Alden Vines, pen name Anthony Alden" is the youngest of ten children, eight boys and two girls.  He grew up in Toledo, Ohio a small Midwestern city located on the doorsteps of Detroit, MI. Anthony was blessed to have creative mentors all around him starting with his father the late photographer Clifton Vines.  Anthony was also mentored by seven brothers. The late Marvin Vines a national acclaimed fine artist and brother documentary photographer the late Thomas Vines set a standard of excellence for Anthony to reach for.
